Visiting:
**** UPDATED COVID VISITING INFORMATION****▪️
*No partners are to attend any antenatal appointments, fetal and maternal medicine or scanning.
*A birthing person may be accompanied by one named birthing partner only, this is to include cesarean section. After the birth, the partner or supporter will need to leave after two hours for all births.
*All other visiting will stop- this is to include all inpatient areas, including the antenatal and postnatal ward.
*NICU visiting hours will be a 2h slot each day for one parent each time. Slots can be booked with the ward.

Due to the ever-increasing infection situation, CUH and the Rosie have had to make some hard decisions about visiting policies. This new guidance is in line with many other UK hospitals and prioritises having a birth partner there for the birth. These new rules will help to make sure that staffing levels remain safe and effective as well as minimising transmission to parents and babies, including the sickest babies on NICU. Thank you to the hard-working staff who are doing their best in extremely challenging situations.
